Norovirus: Enhancing Our Vocabulary

We are on Day 9, yes NINE days, of norovirus.

Poor JWop has been a smiley little trooper but its been hard work. And there is still a bottomless laundry bin to be tackled. I wish wine glasses refilled like my laundry.

On the plus side, I have used some rarely spoken words this week. Respiration, circulation, dehydration, urination. All very glamorous too, I’m sure you’ll agree.

And we created two new words too:

Shit-uation: A situation involving poo.

Poo-thpaste: When the poo is appears to be contained in a nappy but on lying the baby down, it is squeezed out of the back/front/sides/all of the above. Like a tube of toothpaste.

Sadly they are both ten letter words and will be destined never to appear on Countdown.
